Practice Groups


Beginner:
• Swimmers who have little or no competitive experience
• Older inexperienced swimmers may be in the group at coaches’ discretion
• Must be able to complete, at least, 25 yards independently with little or no stopping
• Some prior knowledge or freestyle and backstroke
• Attend at least two practices per week
• Participate in all dual meets, championship meets if applicable, and 2 select “mini” meets
• Swimmers are expected to show up on time and are expected to stay for the length of the practice, this includes dry land

Novice:
• Swimmers who have some competitive swimming experience but need much technique work.
• Must be able to complete a 25 of each stroke, with at least 3 legal strokes
• Attend at least 3 practices per week
• Participate in all dual meets, championship meets, and 3 select USA invitational meets
• Swimmers are expected to show up on time and are expected to stay for the length of the practice, this includes dry land
           
Black:
• Swimmers who are strong in all 4 swimming strokes, however in need of technique improvement and conditioning and are deemed ready by coaching staff. Typically 9-14 years old
• Attend 4 practices per week
• Must be able to swim 50 yards of each stroke and 100 IM and have some stamina
• Swimmers expected to attend all dual meets, championship meets, and 3 select USA invitational meets
• Swimmers are expected to show up on time and are expected to stay for the length of the practice, this includes dry land


Gold:
• Typically ages 11-18, younger if deemed ready by coaching staff
• Younger swimmers may be in the group at coaches’ discretion
• Attend 5 practices a week
• Must be able to swim a 50 of each stroke, 100 of at least 2 strokes, and a 200 IM
• Minimum B USA motivational cut time with in age group
• Attend all dual meets, championship meets, and 4 select USA meets
• Swimmers are expected to show up on time and are expected to stay for the length of the practice, this includes dry land

We offer plans to help make it easier for families, sibling discounts, and a pay-in-full discount. Our prices are competitive with, and in most cases, lower, than other area clubs.

Families may apply for financial aid consideration using the form below. Please fill out form and include any additional documentation.

If selected for financial aid, families may be awarded discounts, but must do the following:
-Fulfill all fundraising responsibilities
-Attend practices and meets regularly
